Welcome to my personal blog for art, OCs, and my many nerdy interests (Transformers, FGO/Fate, TES, visual novels, etc) as well as dumb posts I think are funny.
This is just for me to goof off I generally don’t follow anyone under the age of 21 (no particular reason– I just think it’s better to be around your own age group!)
I don’t really participate in fandom anymore–I’m just here to look at cool fan art and theories
I have some hours before work so I’ll use them to actually detail why I’ve found CSPaint to be so efficient for bastard-aligned painters who like to take shortcuts.
This will seem familiar to most of you guys, but this functions a little bit different from Photoshop. It turns everything you draw on the layer into editable curves, but retains the aliased smoothness of an ordinary raster layer. Practically a cheat to access the whole suite of amazing tools CS offers for lineart. Such as:
The vector eraser is The Best™. You can be as messy as possible and this tool erases the excess. One pen-flick and it’s done. Much faster than cleaning it up by hand. You can also tweak the settings of this brush to encapsulate more/less lines as you erase but that’s getting a little more involved. Anyway, last thing:
Maybe the only thing better than the vector eraser. There are multiple settings, but these three are the most handy. You can smooth wiggly edges, connect broken strokes, and tweak the width/weight to exactly how you want it. This also has a ton of settings you can play around with. It’s great!
There’s a lot more tools you can use, but you get the point! It’s a really good drawing program. I recommend it!
Okay so I found the most incredible horse statue while doing research for my job and guys. Are you ready for this. Are you sure you’re fucking ready for this thing
does anyone know if i can like block sites from appearing in my google images searches??? i keep getting those awful ai generated things with a hand coming out of a man’s neck and just straight up not what i was looking for, because this was in a search for “curly hair in medieval paintings”. it happens every time i search for anything vaguely art-reference-like and it’s so fucking annoying and it clutters my search results so much. i don’t wanna add specific commands to the query every time too, what i need is like a browser extension or something
Yeah you’re right. It WOULD be pretty fucked up if you were a swan but you were raised by ducks and you grew up never seeing another swan or even knowing that such a thing as a swan even existed so you just thought you were a duck with something super wrong with it.
Many of which are shows from the 90’s, 2000s and early 2010’s. Was this mostly done out of nostalgia? Yeah, but it’s nice to have something to watch casually when you’re not witch hunting on pirated websites or don’t want to go to them.
I try to have playlists of fully uploaded series or have the majority of the episodes since I feel like it wouldn’t be as satisfactory to have only one episode of a series.
The majority of the shows here are from my own childhood but it’s a mixture of shows for children to adult audiences. Though I did not add every single preschool cartoon from my memory.
Don’t feel like watching cartoons? Old TV Time has many infomercials, PSAs and mini documentaries from the 1900s!
